In 2016, Chun’an County Government worked with CCTV and chose Phase Two of Beer Town (the red-roofed commercial street) as the venue for the programme “Arrival of the Racing Gods”, creating a sensation. Phase Two of Beer Town was then developed as an automobile-themed leisure and entertainment project.
Ranqing Racing Theme Park – Aerial View
The goals: a lakeside karting circuit of a standard to host international karting events; an automotive theme park that combines karting competition with motorsport shows; a comprehensive carnival park that brings together beer and racing; and the only large lakeside test-drive site in East China. In terms of spatial layering, the buildings step down from the lake and are kept at heights that scarcely block views, optimising the viewing spaces of Beer Town.

The architecture adopts a modern German manner — robust and simple, yet full of passion. Orange-red is the dominant colour, with variations that link the scheme to Beer Town, and saturation guides the youthful, dynamic feel. Greys are used mostly on the north side to soften the colour impact and blend with the buildings of Beer Town.
